What is Brave Women Write about?
Brave Women Write is my latest book published late 2022. Brave Women Write on Substack
As we navigate the existential threats of climate collapse and a global far-right resurgence hell-bent on dismantling women’s rights, the Brave Women Write Substack is my space to keep the fire alive and inspire women to keep writing their stories.
Stand up and fight as we sit down and write!
Expect stories, provocations and actionable ideas for women on writing. Here, we write bold, truth-telling narratives that challenge the patriarchal status quo in service of women and Mother Earth.
Brave Women Write is free—no paywalls, no gimmicks, just a fortnightly newsletter published on Friday’s. Let’s converse, co-create and write together.

Perhaps we’re kindred spirits?
Brave Women Write was the catalyst for me to start researching the tragic life of my grandmother, Elsie with my cousin Susan. And now, I’m up to my elbows writing Finding Elsie—a feminist novel based on her life. I’m at 35,000 words and counting. Here’s a teaser…
Long-lost cousins Carla and Suzi reunite on a quest to uncover the truth about the tragic life of their grandmother Elsie. Their journey takes them across South Australia as they piece together the story of a woman abandoned by her husband, indefinitely committed to Adelaide’s Parkside Lunatic Asylum, and estranged from her four children.
